Also, could the caregivers replies go to our emails as well as Careswitch?

Serina Smith: Yes if we implement emails as fallbacks to chat messages, the functionality would apply to all users, admins, caregivers, office staff, etc.

I understand. There may be a few caregivers who would opt-out of receiving messages. How difficult is the process to re-enable their access? Is it lengthy? We would need to communicate these details to them.

Serina Smith: Its kind of crazy, from our understanding they would need to reach out to their phone carrier to get us off the list of companies that cannot contact them. Apparently not easy to do.

Yes, I would like the caregivers to get a push notification with an email and text. I anticipate issues with the app for those caregivers who may not be technologically savvy and those who may work/live in remote areas. Is this doable?
D
Dan Ogren
Serina Smith: We can definitely do email notifications as a fallback to our native app notifications. The problem with SMS text is that regulators have gotten strict about technology companies texting people. We can do it but if someone in your business were to say STOP to opt out, its a very difficult process to re-enable the ability for Careswitch to send that person a text in the future. I hope this makes sense.

Serina Smith can you tell me a little more about this request and what you are looking for here? Is your expectation that when a chat message is sent through Careswitch, the caregiver gets a push notification AND and email or text?
